What is a prehabilitation plan?
A prehabilitation plan is designed to prevent injury by optimising health, fitness and resilience. They can be used for a variety of reasons including
- Increasing overall fitness
- Targetting areas of weakness
- Increasing flexibility
- Increasing endurance
It typically consists of an exercise plan, and in some cases diet plan, to help promote healthy change in your dogs and horses.
Prehabilitation plans can be used for animals of all levels and disciplines, including happy hack horses and family pets for the prevention of injury.


What is a rehabilitation plan?
A rehabilitation plan aids with recovery following injury as well as ensuring a safe return to daily life and/or exercise. It will provide a structured approach to helping your animal regain their ability to function following an injury or other condition that has had an impact on their life.
The plan will include:
- Personalised goals
- Progressive stages
- Focus on functionality
- It will take a holistic approach
The goal is to assist with recovery by improving strength, mobility and overall wellbeing whilst helping individuals return to their usual activity levels.
